MAP A CRIME is a Pakistan based platform that invites general public to take part in crime mapping to change the quality of life in Pakistan’s cities and towns.
We seeks to change urban quality of life by improving urban governance, and seeks to do this by applying a well-defined framework of change that is based on a systems approach. We encourage individuals to come forward and speak about every single incident to them or in-front of them in real life to develop a database of reference for further usage by any interested law enforcement or law making agencies to identify areas where ratio of crime is higher, and improve law & order situations in certain areas or decrease the chances of further happening of any such incidents with general public of Pakistan in certain areas.
People feel hesitant to report Crime or incidents to Law Enforcers, consider it waste of time and fear from being identified and getting involved in further prosecutions or any other related formalities, MAP A CRIME is the platform, where you can share the stories of incidents happened to you, without sharing your identity.
